Now Recycling Juice Pouches!

Our Elementary GREEN Committee is providing a place for the students to recycle juice pouches they use at lunch. We TRIED to stress that they were not to go out and buy juice pouches just for this, but IF they had one, it can now be recycled. We send the empty pouches to Terrycycle to be made into backpacks, message bags, and pencil pouches. The company pays the postage and sends the school two cents per pouch. We will use the money for a small GREEN Project to be decided later. Water bottles can be put in the classroom paper recycling box.
